The Play to Win Series was founded in the fall of 2004 by Nicholas Culpin. The purpose of the series is to promote the sport of paintball in a fair and competitive environment while providing an awareness and fund for respective charitable causes.

With the help of the University of Hartford paintball club and Matts Outback Paintball the Play to Win Series has raised thousands of dollars to benefit the American Cancer Society of eastern Connecticut

Now in 2010, the Deluxe Paintball Program has joined the effort and will host the future of the Play to Win Series in Northern California .
